Background
In 1985, Bill was admitted to the Bar and joined Edmunds & Williams that same year. Bill is a member of the Lynchburg (former President, Board member, and Secr./Treas.) and Virginia Bar Associations as well as the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the Defense Research Institute and The American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Western District of Virginia. Bill currently serves as a Board member of The Gateway, a non-profit in Lynchburg providing transitional housing for the homeless.
Bill Phillips was born Richmond, Virginia and lives with his wife in Lynchburg. He is a fanatical follower of the Richmond Spiders and is the firm’s resident expert on sports statistics.
