Background
After practicing in Tennessee, Michael returned to Virginia and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2005; he joined Edmunds & Williams that year. Michael is a member of the Lynchburg and Virginia Bar Associations. In addition to Virginia, Michael is a member of the state bar of Tennessee.
Michael and his wife, Mary, both grew up in the greater Lynchburg area, and they are the proud parents of two young sons. Michael serves as a Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg (President 2007-2009), a Board Member of the Lynchburg Bar Association, the Lynchburg Circuit Representative for the Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar, a mock trial coach, and a coach of youth athletics.
