Background
Darryl practiced as a certified public accountant in Lynchburg prior to attending law school and continues to maintain his status as such. He joined Edmunds & Williams in 1997 and was admitted to the Virginia Bar that same year. Darryl is a member of the Lynchburg (Board of Directors 2004-2006) and Virginia Bar Associations as well as the Lynchburg Estate Planning Council (Board of Directors 2003 to 2008; President 2007 to 2008). Currently, he serves on the Boards of The Williams Home, Inc. and the Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation. In 2005, Darryl was named as a Virginia Business Magazine "Super CPA".
A native of Campbell County, Darryl and his family continue to live there in the Gladys area in a brick Virginia farmhouse designed by Darryl and his wife that reflects their interest in American colonial history. In addition to spending time with his wife and four children, Darryl enjoys working outdoors, is an avid outdoor sportsman, and active in his local church.
