Robin was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1965 and joined Edmunds & Williams in 1967. Since 1980, Robin has taught Virginia Law and Procedure as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Washington & Lee University School of Law. Robin is a member of the Lynchburg (President, 1985-1986), Virginia (Executive Committee, 1986-1988, 2007-2010), and American Bar Associations. He is also a member Virginia State Bar (Editor, Litigation Newsletter, 1984-90; Chairman, Litigation Section, 1988-1989), and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. He is also a Member of the Virginia Law Foundation, 1992 and a participant in and former chairman of the Boyd-Graves Conference on Virginia Procedure.
